How to Make a Paper Mache Trophy Head, pt. 1

This tutorial will show you how to create an armature, or skeletal framework, for a trophy head sculpture. Once the armature is created, it will be covered with paper mache and paper clay (pt. 2), then painted (pt. 3). To create the armature, suggested materials include: - cardboard - newspaper - masking tape - sculpture wire or wire coat hangers (optional) - scissors, X-Acto knife, wire cutters (optional) - hot glue gun (optional)

Wife And I Harvest An Alaskan Trophy Moose

Connie and I head out on a two and a half week moose hunt into very remote Alaskan wilderness. We traveled by boat literally more than several hundred miles and checked out seven different rivers and creeks. The day before the moose season closed, we were blessed to harvest a trophy class bull moose. We were not after a trophy and in fact would have been pleased with a forty inch rack moose.
